1. What can you treat?

In our practice of TCM, we have managed to achieve good results on eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, arthritis, back pain, sore neck, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, sports injuries, sciatica, headache, migraine, infertility, impotence, stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia, sinus problems, M.E., fatigue, colitis, I.B.S., Bell's palsy, stop smoking, etc...

2.Is the practitioner registered?

Yes. Registered with the British Acupuncture Council (BAC), the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM), the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM), Back Care. Wei-Xiong is a Fellow Member of the ATCM(UK).

3.How long has the practitioner been practising?

Wei-Xiong Chen has been practising Chinese medicine and acupuncture since 1986 in Glasgow. Hui Chun Clinic is the very first Chinese clinic in Scotland.

4.Does the practitioner speak fluent English?

Yes. As you know that communication between the practitioner and the patient is very important. Any misinterpretation can effect the treatment.

5.Does acupuncture hurt?

No. it isn't painful but you can feel the acupuncture sensation.

6.Has the practitioner featured in the press?

Yes. Because of our success on treating different medical conditions Wei-Xiong Chen has featured in the Scotsman, the Herald, the Daily Record, the Daily Mail, the Daily Mirror, the Daily Express, the Daily Stars, the Evening Times, the Sunday Mail, the Sunday Post, BBC Radio, STV, and BBC1.

7.Do you have package deals? And do I have to pay up-front?

No. We don't have package deals as care is more important than cash, our aim is to help you obtain a cure rather than just a relief, taking care of our patients comes before business. We do not ask/push our patients to pay six or ten sessions up-front simply because no every case needs that many treatments. Therefore you pay as you have treatment.

8.Are you recognized by GPs?

We often received referrals from GPs or hospitals.

9.Do you use disposable needles?

Yes. This is the policy of the British Acupuncture Council.

10.Can I claim my health insurance?

Many of our patients have had successful claims.

11.Do you cure all?

No. Although we can treat a wide range of disorders that doesn't mean everything. We won't string you along.

12.What gives you satisfaction?

Seeing patients getting better or cured is my great pleasure. I have to say I am a happy man because I see many of my patients getting better or cured every day. I have the interest of my patients at heart.

13.Do you use any animal products in your practice of Chinese medicine?

No. We have hundreds of medicinal herbs for alternative.
